Psycho-educational | ADHD | Autism | Mental Health + Diagnostic | Forensic | Immigration + Refugee
We offer a wide range of psychological, psychoeducational, and neurodevelopmental assessments. Much of this work happens through contracted partnerships with schools, school divisions, band offices, child and family services agencies, and health centres, as we travel to remote, rural, and northern communities across British Columbia.
If you're an organization interested in bringing assessment services to your community, we'd love to hear from you.
These assessments are also available individually, outside of a community contract. Availability and format vary by assessment type and age: some assessments can be completed virtually, while child and youth assessments typically require an in-person visit, and some assessment types are available for adults only. Due to this range, please contact us for pricing. Please see also Virtual Adult Autism & ADHD Assessments.
Assessments typically include detailed recommendations fine-tuned to meet the specific needs and context of the individual being assessed. This information can also be used to help with treatment planning, funding, accommodations and referrals.

Forensic risk /court-ordered.
Forensic risk assessments are only necessary when there is involvement with the justice system. These estimate a client’s risk of re-offending either sexually or violently and identify targets for treatment to decrease their risk of re-offending. Typically are court-ordered or requested by a lawyer. We use a trauma-and-violence informed framework in all assessments, and especially in forensic assessments
Immigration + Refugee.
These assessments are typically requested by a lawyer for clients seeking immigration or refugee claims in what-is-called Canada. They consider hardships experienced in country of origin and in the client’s journey, potential of harm should they return, and the psychological impact.
